医学人文教育与课程思政教育之间既存在共性特征又相互区别。医学英语课程需要协同实现以医学生为育人对象的课程思政目标。本文基于医学人文教育视角,从医学英语教材、中国传统医学名家故事、国际医学文献检索、医学英语时文导读、中医药英语文化等角度,深入挖掘医学英语教学资源中的课程思政教育元素,精准提升当代医学生医学伦理、大医精诚、医学人文、人类卫生健康共同体意识和中华医药文化自信,培养面向新时代医德高尚、医术精湛的人民健康守护者。
Medical humanities education and ideological and political education bear some similarities but also differences. Medical English course needs to achieve the goal of ideological and political education for medical students. On the basis of medical humanities, this paper evaluated various elements of ideological and political education in the process of teaching medical English including textbooks, stories of famous individuals in the history of traditional Chinese medicine (TCM), retrieving international medical literature, guided reading of English medical news reports and learning TCM in English, so as to accurately enhance students' awareness of medical ethics, medical sincerity, medical humanities, and recognition of the concept of global health and confidence in TCM culture. The paper asserts that medical English courses should coordinate with others to cultivate healthcare talents with exquisite medical skills and noble medical ethics in the new era.
