About the Collection

Various optical imaging techniques have long provided researchers with specific and quantitative information about molecules, cells, and tissues, through a wide variety of imaging modalities, from conventional microscopic techniques to advanced new techniques. Now, the development and fusion of such imaging techniques allows the establishment of next-generation life and convergence science. Therefore, we aim to collect various protocols, reviews, and research articles related to life and convergence research using various optical microscopy techniques in addition to development of imaging technologies. Readers can gain an overall understanding of the field and learn how researchers can use these various optical microscopy techniques.

Short list of topics of interest:

- All types of optical imaging and spectroscopic techniques based on microscopy

- Scanning probe microscopy

- Analytical techniques based on optical microscopy

- Development of probes for optical imaging

- Development of analytical software based on AI for optical imaging

- Physical chemistry, chemical biology, and biophysics using optical imaging techniques

- Life and biomedical sciences using optical imaging techniques

- All types of convergence and translational science using optical imaging techniques

This collection supports United Nations Sustainable Development Goals 3 (Good Health and Well Being).
